We adopted a dachshund-terrier mix as a puppy several months ago. Since then I've discovered that dacshunds are very intelligent and love "hunting" games such as hide and seek. Haley (our dog) also loves to burrow after small objects, and dacshunds are born to pull and tug at things. Most importantly, they love nothing more than to be number one in your life.
