I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to complete the season on Weplay last fall.

We don't have something exactly as you are describing. Here's what we have currently:

1) Team organizers can control who can initiate team messages (Any member, or Organizers only)
2) When each message is sent out, the sender determines whether to email it to the team, and whether replies should be sent by default to sender only or to the whole team. We recently changed the default setting of this option to "Email replies to the sender"
3) Organizers can delete any group message or reply
4) Lastly, Weplay staff has the ability to suspend typing privileges for a member. The suspension can remain in effect for 24 hours, or indefinitely. If one of your members is abusing their privileges and posting inappropriate content on Weplay, you can report it and we will act accordingly.

My first reaction to the approval workflow is that it sounds complicated and hard to pull off with the elegance that we strive for. That said, if lots of members ask for it, we'd certainly consider it. Yours is the first request for this feature so far.
