In 1970 George Blanda led his team to 4 come from behind wins and 1 tie enabling them to get into the playoffs and thus becoming the oldest quarterback to play in a title game, where he accounted for all of his Oakland Raiders 17 points in a loss to the Baltimore Colts. He was 43 at the time, he retired just before his 49th birthday in 1976. As long as Brett can contribute and he wants to play, he should, BUT he has to accept his limits, and whatever his role might be in continuing to play. Blanda died just this past Sep at the age of 83. Having been a starting quarterback, a record holding kicker, a heroic come from behind backup quarterback, a record holding scorer, and a leader, very few have contributed as much to playing the game let alone more. RIP George Blanda.

Cleary it is time. Why? If you watch Sportcenter you know why. Farve has had many injuries. Farve can't take this pain anymore because with all the injuries could ruin him physically for life.
