Kicking over from a bridge ?

I recently developed my backbend ! (: I have gotten pretty strong at it , and I feel I am ready to learn my kickover , unfortunately , I can't ! When my mom spots me , she has to do all the work to push me over ! If I do it on my own I go up a little then come back down on my back !
I can do it with me legs up on a couch , or cheese mat , but not on my own ! HELP ?!

I helps if u get ur hands closer to ur feet and lock out your arms. also when u kick over you have to do it pretty hard and try to use ur abs ull have it in no time:)
when u get that you can try to start with one leg in front of the other and kick over it makes it go alot faster.

Start out with hopping with both feet together. (push up into your bridge and hop your feet as high as you can) Really push through your shoulders to get a nice open chest. doing the hops with help build the muscles needed to get all the way over. Good luck!

I would rock back and forth until you have enough power to kick over.

You're stomach muscle and leg muscles are prob not strong enough. Keep practicing and you will develop strength. Lots of sit ups, V ups and leg lifts will help.
