Question
In football when you are about to make a tackle, what position are you supposed put your head in?
I'm not a good tackler but I can hit really hard, but I don't know how to position my head.

to the side of the ball carrier and facing forward and NOT downwards.

Luke, excellent article and camp. Every football player - not just defense - should attend one at least once a year. The old adage is if your not looking at it don't tackle it (paraphrase). Keep your head up, down means a crushed spine and paralysis.
