maybe. do u have back problems? are u not very energetic? do u have shoulder problems? do u have weak arms and/or legs? if the answer to any of these, probably not a good idea. if u have weak arms/legs then strengthen them b4 ur do anything the u have to land on them.

You could always find a gymnastics camp or an open gym and try it. If you like it from that experience, go for it! I don't suggest signing up for a class that requires a commitment of a period of time. Good luck!

I do trampoline and tumbling gymnastics. I love it. I have gotten a LOT stronger since I started!

Try your local YMCA. They have really awesome programs for ALL levels and their trainers will keep you safe and having fun while you learn. Plus it's not nearly as expensive as other programs. My daughter has learned it helps her in cheer, softball and soccer. Good luck hun! Hope this helps.

Gymnastics is always a great thing to do if u are a cheerleader or want to be a cheerleader. it helps with tumbling first of all and staying tight and using ur abs legs and arms! so yes i would recomend you do gymnastics:)
