Question
The tryout is in 3 weeks 7 hrs away. And I dont want to look like a joke infront of all these college coaches. I got invited so that must mean they think im pretty good but I have been taking it easy for the last 3 weeks because of my back and I dont know if I am good enough to make this team since I havent been playin much.

well just get someone to help u practice a week or so before and tryout if they invite they want so just try as hard as possible and give all you got.I say you do it...
-
Well, it sorta depends, would you do it if you were practicin on a usual schedule?? If u would, then go outside, or go to a close field, and try throwin, and hittin some, and if u feel ok, start practicin regularly again, and if you feel up to it, then, go ahead and try, if you don't feel up to it, then don't if u don't want to, if I were u and I wasn't hurtin, I would totally do it, Good Luck :):)

Go for it. Have fun, do your best, and if nothing else, learn from it. It will make you better for the next tryout.

do it!! then even if u dont make it, u will know what the are looking for and know where u need to improve.... also the experience is great!

If one of your family members of friends are great at the sport then you should practice with them 3 times a week

i think you should tryout!!! its a great oppurtunity!!! if you really love the sport then go for it!
-
i forgot to add....just practice really hard as much as you think you need to until your comfortable.....and atleast if you dont make it you know what to improve on!!! good luck! and dont forget to have fun!!!

Go to the first practice. See how it goes, if you don't like it, or if you are not ready, then talk with the coach and tell him your concerns.

Like what you said, they wont invite you if they don't think you have potential. Having confidence is a very important factor when trying-out. That's one of the characteristics most coaches look for. Just do what you know and focus on hustling during the try-out and giving your 110% Sleep well and eat well before the try-out. If you want to be more ready you can do some exercises prior to the try-out. You can jog and add core training to make you more ready for the workout.

just give it a shot

Well pratice every chance you have, and work out. Are you ready? Ask friends ands family if they think you're ready. Get tips for that sport on here aswell.

You should really try out, not only is it an honor to be invited to a teams tryout, itis also a great learning experience. The more tryouts you attend the more comfortable you will be in going. Try to relax and enjoy yourself at the tryout. Not everyone has a great tryout or game everyday. Just do the best you can and give 110% that way yu will feel good about yourself and that's what is important!

i think you should do what you believe and what you think is right for you.
-
you should do what ever you want to do.

For heavens sake there is no such thing as a wasted tryout on any level. I have had two of my son's tryout for teams that they were not even eligible to play for - but the experience they gained in those tryouts and the tips they picked up from coaches at those tryouts were invaluable.
The biggest obstacle to success is fear. Stop thinking of excuses to let fear win and you are well on your way.

try to practice as much as you can and when the time comes do your best.the worst thing that can happen is if you don't make the team.
-
If they invited you..that means something! They must like you as a player . So what i would do practice..practice..practice so you will be great ! Then i really dont htimk you will make a fool out of yourself =)

DO IT!
