okay here's what you do... you hold a basketball or pool noodle up to where shes dropping her hands to and if she hits it try again but if she doesnt give her a reward! this should help with her bad habit. TANEL 360 fastpitch RULES #7

http://hittingstore.com/loslulhiteej.html try this site for products, and also think about getting her a batting coach. many of them offer their services at the batting cages. showing her proper position and having her swing over something that she hit if she drops her hands, could be useful. also, it could be an issue of shoulder strength or just a bad swing.

Try using a tee to hit off because if she does dip she'll hit the tee and not the ball and it will teach her to swing level

try tellling her to think of her batting swing as one motion. i had that problem too. you can also try going through it in slow motion.

I also have a player that does the same thing, according to our batting coach, you should have her hit the ball off a tee, but have her hit the ball down, like she is trying to hit the ball into the dirt in front of the plate. By practicing swinging like this she will not be able to do the drill if she drops her arms/hands.

I have one of the best hitting coaches and it just so happened to be that when i went to him my problem was i was dropping my sholder and swinging to low ! Now he got to do is put my hands in line with the face guard on my helmet and swing but wateva keep her working on tee to fix it and dont let her hit out of a machine until she rlly gets it because when i first started i didnt hit off the machine until like 4 weeks after i started because it is better to do work on a tee than just going and hitting a ball until wat u are doing is muscle memory for you ! One of the most improtant things he always says is muscle memory so keep her doing the same thing over and over and keep telling her wat she did wrong and eventually let her tell you wat she did wrong ! Two of the best things to do are jsurt work off a tee before you do ANY machine work and also if u ever say one of those small bats that are just for drills.. the ones that are weighted it would be good to get cuz wat u do is you have her work both swinging with one hand tens times in a row for both hands you will really be able to see if she drops her hands ! Well i hope this helps and remember do ALOT of tee work before she hits off a machine because if you dont it not come as muscle memory to her and she wont cure her bad habits and may develop more ! :) PS.......... It will be fustrating at first bc she might not get it right away but watever you do dont give up and keep PRACTICING ! :))
