Start with good old sprints 4-50yds {2min breakwo/water} 10-10yds {3min w/water } 2-100yds 1min break between 100yd sprints. Mondays and Thursdays/After practice.
Teusday during practice set up agility course
1:forward and backward through the cones
2:side to side through cones
3:zig zag run around cones/dummys
4: jump rope 20
5: bear crawl 25 to 50yds
everybody goes through 3 to 5
coaching points: stay low/hips down, don't cross feet/open hips to move
You can see the cone drills in the drills section of weplay if you need a visual.
Once you get the feel you can modify to your liking as with any fundamental drill.To all football lover that have the responsibility of teaching youth the fundamentals. Study your craft, you must research, study the techniques, the coaching points.
