This is a tough situation, but the best advice I could give would be to talk to your father about it. Explain to him how you feel she may be over stepping her boundaries a bit and that you would feel more comfortable if she was merely you cheer coach, only at cheer practice. Ask that if outside of practice, can she keep her coaching and "stepmothering" to a minimum. hope this helps. I wish you the best.

I agree with Shannon! I know that is a really awkward situation...but, if you really love cheer you can look past the negatives and focus on the positives! If you are enjoying what you do it is worth it! Just think of your coach as two different people ant different times! Think of her only as a coach for cheer and a step-mom outside of sports! When all else fail talk to your Dad about how you feel about the situation! He is sure to understand and can maybe give you some advice! Good luck!
