The drop third strike is useful because it gives the teamz another chance to get on base.but in field flies i personally dont like but it has to be a good reason for it to be a rule.hope this helps

DROP 3RD STRIKE to me has no point. I see how it gives people a chance to get on base but lets hope your good enough to get base runners on besides the catcher just so happens to drop the ball on your strikeout. INFIELD FLY is a good rule cuz if there are runners on base then the player can purposly drop the ball and get the force out.

i think drop 3rd strike is kinda dumb but infield fly is good so there are not as many double plays

I really thought drop 3rd was a strange rule to add to both baseball and softball. I mean, if you can't hit the ball or look at a strike why should you get a chance to be on base.

HOWEVER, I am used to having it around now. It can be beneficial if you get to take advantage of it. Of course it can also be a pain if it's used against you.

Infield fly I don't mind only because I can see how it can stop a team from possibly getting 2-3 "cheap" outs instead of just the 1 on the pop up.
