I think it would be great! If she has the skills and ability to play with older girls, then go for it! We moved my daughter up early. She turned 9 in February and played 10U last fall for the first time and is now on a 10U select team. IMO, I think if a girl is playing above the level than the girls around her, than it might be time to put her with girls at her skill level. If she is playing with girls that are at a level below her, she will play down to their level instead of to her full potential. It has totally made a difference in my daughter playing with older girls. She has dramatically improved her game. I say go for it!! Good luck!

I think it is a great decision, because, she sounds really great, she would be a great addition to any team! Good Luck again!

Sarah,
The answeer is dependent on a several things: What does your daughter want to do? Is she going to sit on the bench, or be a regular player? It's better to play full time in her age group than to play part time on an older team. Also, which team has the better coach? Consider all of these factors with your daughters imput before making your decision. -
she sounds awesome the only thing i would be worried about is its a whole different game when u go from coach pitch to fastpitch but what i would do is get a 10 pitcher from yer town to pitch to he and a good one to and see how she does but thats it everthingelse sounds good

Some leagues frown upon thinking about safety. Even though your daughter is a great hitter if she gets a hard ball hit to her from a 10 yr old will she able to field it without getting hurt. If your daughter can handle it than talk to the director of your organization, if you hold her back she may get bored.
