Walk around the house popping your wrist straight up for two minutes as hard as you can, make sure you have your arm straight down beside your thigh. Put the ball down and do it again every 5 minutes 5 times a night. This will keep your mechanics in tune all the time ( no high or low pitches)
If your throwing inside, then turn your hips more everytime. If your throwing outside, then your left foot isn't on your PITCH LINE, draw a line from the center of the pitching rubber straight to the center of homeplate everytime your on the mound and watch where your left foot lands, it should land on the line everytime!
We aint building a watch or doing surgery, we are just pitching the ball..... keep it simple !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yea make sure your nose is behind your belly button every time !!! Have you ever hit a ball standing on your front foot??? ( NO POWER,,,,, STAY BACK AND USE YOUR CORE)

It's very important that you have your pitching fundamentals down. Practice your control first before power and speed. You have to be consistent and practice all the time and remember movement especially on a successful pitch

It also helps that if you focus on the catcher's mitt, don't take your eyes off of it. It really does help. Point your mitt towards the catcher's glove.

    1. but if you want to pitch inside or outside pitches then step wither to the left or the right of the power line instead of a straight line.

Drop your windmill if you use one. Only add the windmill once you are consistant with your pitches staying in the strike zone

    If your a pitcher:
Wellll, it is a lot of practice. The more you go out and through then the more you will get concestent with your strikes. Trust me I know about this one(: But make shure when your practicing, really try to hit those corners cause you don't just want to pitch it down the middle. I like the outside pitch, so try going with that one.
    If your a catcher:
Okay, so if your a catcher catching for your pitcher in practice or a game, then to keep her in the strike zone show her where to put the ball. Inside, outside, or low. I'm a pitcher and I can tell you this really helps me as a pitcher.

The more you practice, the better you get. Plus your body will have muscle memory for when you pitch good and unfortunately for bad too. So start out slowly pitching the windmill with just your arms. Once you get the muscle memory down for a good strike, then you can speed it up and eventually add your legs and core.
Don't forget that practice makes perfect.

    1st u have 2 have confidence
if u r having problems with the ball going to low, or rolling, or 2 high, it is because u r not letting go of the bal where u r supposed 2 be.
try 2 realease the ball rite when ur wrst is at ur hip.
if ur having problems with the ball going 2 far 2 the left or rite, then just make sure u r stepping rite torward the plate.

i hope this helps, and have fun and a lot of confidence while ur on the mound!!!!
please respond back and tell me if this helped u!!!! =P

    mechanics & quality practice

On a side note...the older you get, the less you want to be IN the strike zone, but you do still want good control and command of your pitches.
