Your weight to height is right where it needs to be. Talk to your parents and doctor to develop a plan to be more fit not lose weight to flyer. Not everyone is meant to be a flyer. As your coach if it is realistic for you to be a flyer and what you need to do.

    2. Flying is take a different type of skill and mentality. Not everyone will be a flyer nor should they be. If you really want to be one talk to your coach and see what you need to work on. She should know best what you need to do because she knows what you are able to do.

What I do is run a mile everyday. Do crunches, push ups,and lunjes. You're in great shape anyway but if you want to be a flyer this will help a lot. Good Luck!

Tylor, your weight is just right for your height. Your not even done growing, losing 20 lbs at this point could be detrimental to your health. Then you can not only forget about being a flyer, but sports altogether.
Concentrate on keeping yourself fit. At your age this should involve mostly running, swimming, and biking. These activities build muscle tone and keep fat cells at bay, and they're fun. And make sure you keep a good diet. Most kids don't like em but eat your greens, eat berries and fruits, and cut the junk food and drink water.
To be a flyer discuss with your coach what you need to do and work hard at it.

you dont need to lose any weight. your height and weight is fine. you also cant choose if you are going to be a a flyer. all the positions are important the bases and back spots are just as important as the flyers. Dont be concentrated on being a flyer but instead try the other positions as well.

You are perfect weight for your size.... they usually pick people who are short and therefor will weigh less.... you would be a perfect back base just smile and they will notice you even more than the flyer! I promise! :o)
