Did your puppy get sick right after you got him?

I just got one yesterday and he is sick today.

    Mine is a day new to us and we had to bring him in to the emergency hospitle for pups. Ouch

    Umm when we got our cat from the humane society he had kennal cough but that was it i think it was just the puppy that was sick

    Ours were never a problem, but it's not unusual for new puppies to be sick. Maybe he/she is scared, or not used to the food that you are giving her. Don't give a new pet too much attention at first-they need their rest.

    I hope your puppy recovered from his illness. We also got a very sick puppy who spent several nights in an emergency room. It was stressful, but thankfully, she recovered and is a champ now.
