Does anyone know of any grants or programs in place that can possibly help rebuild a park that has been devasted by the weather?

There are at least 2 youth ball parks that have had total devastation from the middle Tennessee flooding this past weekend. There are probably more in need as well. If there is a program out there that can assist in getting us back on our feet, that would be great. If not, we are looking for anyone in the area that could come out and lend a hand in getting our children's ball parks back in order. Ashland City Dixie Youth in Ashland City, Tennessee and Jess Neely in Nashville, Tennessee can really use help right now.

Tonya, start locally, are the field own my the town or city and do they have insurance. Contact local legislatures (both local and federal) and see if the know if there's any emergy relief funds available for this project. Check with local bussiness owners and see if they are willing to help you out (many will). Fundraise, even if it brings in only a little monies, it shows others your serious about rebuilding your fields. Also thinking down the line for the long term, find a grant writer in your community and apply for grant monies that may be available for non-profit organiztions. This is where I would start.
