How to make my jumps and tumbling better????
My jumps and tumbling has gotten worse over the past couple of months. It feels like my jumps are only getting 2 inches off the ground. My round-offs i cant land right and i cant even do my cart-wheels anymore. So if their is any suggestions or ideas to what I can do to Improve i would appreciate them!! :) thx a bunch!! -Emily

try stretching & try 2 do handstands ^ agaist a wall 4 a few mins a day, th@ will improve ur back strength. 4 ur jumps u can use a thera-band ( a long strip of elastic) which u just tie round ea/ ankle and do ur junps, the thera-band will put sum resistence on ur legs & jump, so u will build the nessasary strength in ur legs 2 perform a jump or u can use ankle weights ( sold @ any sports shop, @ a very low price) & w/ those strapped round ur ankle, u should b able 2 do high kicks, & get ur legs @ even heights, if u have accses 2 a trampoline u can use the thera-band & do ur jumps! thnx, & best of luck!

with your jumps- you need to stretch out your legs more. try doing lunges back and forth with each side. 8 one side- 8 the other side, count down till you get to one. when you get to one slide down into a split as far as you can go and hold it for 8 counts. that will stretch you out a llittle more. when you jump start on your toes and swing your arms around to hit your position that you are going to. when you are in the air sit in the middle of your jump. it sounds weird but it really works. when your done land back on your toes. hope this works for you. this is waht i tell my girls and it has worked for years.

The most important thing, though, after watching and reading how to do those things is consistency. You need to stretch, jump, and do your drills nearly every day to see an improvement.

try sterching before u do anything and on ur jumps throw ur hands up like ur trying 2 touch the sky
