You should try running with speed bursts. When you run, start out slow and every so often run as fast as you can for a little bit and then slow back down again but don't stop running. Eventually you will increase your base speed and your speed bursts will be super fast.

always start with knowing the proper form. Must remember that a combination of long and fast strides is the key to running faster.

Strengthen your legs and core as well.

I play all of those sports too. What helps me run faster is to try to run every day; from your local track, your street, a tredmill, anything! Every time in school when I have to do a mile run, I run the whole time even if I get a cramp or if I'm tired; it really helps make me run faster, so you should do the same!

You should practice a lot. Take time out of your day to run fast. I run fast myself but I have slowed down because I never practice. That is an example of when you don't practice for a long period of time. So remember to practice!
