I want to tryout for middle school cheer, but I deont know where to start!
I am a cheerleader and I jjust want to know the basic I want to be posotive I make it

Exercise....alot...get your abs strong...and legs....and arms. Then ask someone about some cheers, get harder over time. If you cant find someone with cheers......look on youtube or google

work on toe-touches,tuck jumps, hurkies,any tumbling you can do, flexibility,if u have any cheerleader friends ask them if u should try out for a flyer,base,or spotter,and ask how to do all of the essentials practice very tight motions, cheer luod, and always SMILE!!!!!!!

work on like doing a perfect jump like try to touch ypur toe any stuff that will be flexibillity.

the main thing any cheer squad will look for is determination trust me you could be the best cheerleader in the world but if you dont have determination then you wont make it.....you also need to be positive, have a smile, and work on your jumps(pikes, toe touch, ect) good luck if you dont make it and if your military my squad is always open for anyone who is military and live in el paso texas........no chrges lol

I think that u wanting 2 b a cheerleader is great!!!!!!!!!! but if u want 2 be really good at it try some gymnastics clinics they'll help alot!!!!!!!!! and if that doen;t work, then you should contact someone who is a cheerleader and c what they did 2 get the best around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE WORD: YOUTUBE!!!! You should also take gymnastic and dance classes. Remember, if you don't make it this time, there will always be next year. But I have a strong feeling that you will make your cheerleading squad. GOOD LUCK GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first u need to have confidence that u can do it! then start exercising to build endurance and strength by stretching and taking tumbling classes..good luck and don't doubt yourself!

At tryouts, make sure that you have a pretty smile and that you are bubbly! Dont be nervous, because that may reflect off of your performance. Make sure you have strong self-confidence, and you will do great! Be sure to also stretch like no tomorrow!

Just try your best an all things will come together.
First you need to see if your school has a team if not look in your local area to see if their a football team in your area that need cheerleader an start from their or see if their is a gym in the area that has a all-star team that you can go to....

Start by strechting a week before tryouts and practice your jumps motions and tumbling your chants and cheer and ask a friend for advices like point your toes while jumping and tumbling.Because it will look neat and not sloppy.

Stretch a ton! Also practice your toe touches because they are going to be looking for those! Also practice tumbling! If you have a smile on your face and use tons of facial expressions you will get in! Good luck!

Practice toe touches (that's the most important) Also practice your motions like, T's, and hight V's and Low V's and other moves like that!
