    Wrist flips drills are when girls play catch warming up, but only throw with their wrists instead of the full throw. Girls stand about 6 feet apart. One player holds the ball in her throwing hand with proper grip and puts the throwing-arm elbow in her glove at about chest height. This drill works on just one part of the throw (the wrist action). The idea is to break the throw down into smaller parts and then work up to the full throw. I use these to warm up for most all practices.

    1. Thanks Kevin sorry it took so l,ong for me to get back to you. I am coaching second and third graders with 45&6 mixed in. Many of these girls never played softball before so I do appreciate the help.

    sit on youre knees with the opposite throwing arm side leg up then hold youre elbow with other hand and flick the ball back and forth from a short distance.
