Practice practice practice!!! Make sure you are working hard on your spare game. Making spares is what will get you through and closer to the top. Clean games is the key! Good luck!

    Ashley:
    April is absolutely correct!

However, to be a bit more specific, make sure you are getting a lot of practice time on Sport Bowling oil patterns. Since qualifying occurs in 6 blocks of six games, be sure you are able to bowl 6 games without fatigue or other physical issues.

Spares are key to success. Also, don't let any one negative frame or game define your day. Take each game one frame at a time... Keep your emotions in check.

Keep yourself in a positive mindset... positive thoughts will equal positive actions.

You may also want to find a USBC Certified Coach in your area to spend a bit of time with to prepare for the Gold Championships.

    Good luck!
