    Gerardo,
Use a mental training skill called visualization. Nearly every top athlete uses it. Watch the olympic athletes just prior to their event. You can often see them with their eyes closed and their hands, arms, and head moving slowly back and forth. They are visualizing their performance in advance.
You can practice your shots doing using this same valuable technique. Go somewhere quiet, close your eyes, imagine (invision) yourself on the court with the ball ready to shoot. Think about your body position, how you are holding the ball, hands, arms, every detail. You shoot, following through with a beautiful wrist snap, and watch the ball swish through the hoop for the winning basket.
    Try it...it really works.

Get on the floor and lay flat on your back. Shoot and catch a basketball using your fingertips. You can get one of those mini basketballs so your less likely to break something. By your back flat on the floor this will help you improve your shooting form, and your consistency of your follow threw.

Coach Tyrone is exactly right. This is a great exercise to use to help with follow through and also will strenghthen your finger tips to make your shot stronger.

Picture yourself shooting the ball and watch it go in the basket over and over again, then do as coach Tyrone said.

the mental training and the laying on your back are the best drills but i like to go outside and shoot with a heavy ball just shoot straight in the air w/ some force...make sure to still use proper form this will help you with your stroke and being able to shoot further back.

Coach Tyrone gave a great drill; you can also pick a spot (brick) on the side of the house and work your shooting form hitting that one spot repeatedly.
