    Hi Kristen..

The link below is a DVD from a guy I met a few weeks ago in Atlanta while filming my new softball training DVD. he showed me the dvd and it is pretty cool how he can get someone afraid or new to sliding to slide within minutes.

Please know that this is NOT a link where I get any money from. Just passing it along to you :)

Maybe he has some stuff on YouTube...not sure.

    Hope that helps!

One of the best way's is to go out into the outfield on the grass surface any time of the year, throw down a base with no peg but make sure you always have someone with you like a spotter bad idea sliding alone. Than as the weather starts warming up try the same but wet the grass makes for a lot of fun. Once you master this than you want to start stabilizing your base and start trying the pop up slide. When you are ready for that post another message and I will try to explain to you the proper way.

you could do it on a field, but if your going to do that make sure a coach is there to make sure your doing it right.
