Depending on the variables - the distance and speed would really determine. From the same distance and speeds for a baseball and a softball. From their official distances, a softball would be harder to hit, then again, it all depends on the persons swing mechanics and timing.
-
probly baseball because it is smaller and they pitch it faster
-
it has been proven that a softball is harder to hit, but that was with jennie pitcher, say you take an average 14 year old baseball pitcher and 14 year old softball pitcher, i would say baseball
-
i really dont know i think t is the same cuz my baseball coach says when i get into sftball its a hole diffret animal
-
Depends on who's pitching!!!! Jennie Finch or Tim Lincecum.
-
Amen to that ...i agree with Cary
-
softball
-
a softball 'cause its bigger and you can focus on it more. a baseball is smaller
-
If you're used to hitting a softball I'd think it would be harder to hit the baseball, because it's smaller. But then if you're used to hitting the middle of the softball, then it shouldn't be that much of a problem to hit the baseball.
But I've asked baseball players which is harder and they say softballs.
The answer varies. -
haha im answering my own question but anywayz i definelty think that softball is harder to hit. we had a party and a couple of High school baseball players that were starters for the varsity team came and we played a game of softball and i pitched and he just wiffed on them he couldnt hit it for nothing but then he threw to me and i was hitting them so lol idk softball is way harder especially fastpitch
-
Baseball, it iz smaller, and they throw it a little faster, but softball rox!
-
I dont think just because baseball are thrown harder doesnt mean its harder to hit and we do not have more time to look at the ball we are only 43 feet from the mound and by the time she does her wind up shes closer then 38 feet to you and the ball more than likely is coming faster tha 60 depending on your age.
-
I would have to say baseballs would be harder to hit because we never use them. The anwser can be both because a baseball player doesnt use a softball so he will say that is harder to hit and a softball player will say a baseball because we arent used to using baseballs.
-
a baseball because its smaller
-
baseball
-
baseball duh haha
-
I think that its easier to hit a softball. Boys MOST LIKELY think its easier to hit a baseball because thats what were used to.

Probably a baseball because you can get a lot of movement in 1 pitch. Also because it is smaller and faster!

LOVED IT!!!
