Start by reviewing 1 rule every time you practice. Begin with the most basic rules, and as she gets older you can move on to the more advanced. Check with our league and see what association they are sanctioned with i.e; ASA, Little League, etc. We review 1 rule every practice with our 14U girls, it helps out when they are in the game.

Lydia, let her coach teach the basic rules to start she is only 7 (mine 11 & 5). As
a coach of both their teams, one rule on both squads HAVE FUN!!! I teach the
proper way to throw and battig stance. Start off with good foundation then build but
KEEP IT FUN!! She will want and ask for more when she is ready.
