Purchase a wrist brace at your local pro shop or order one online. This will keep your wrist straight. If you bowl on a youth league, practice with your wrist brace outside of league so you can get used to it. Focus on swinging your arm straight, like a swing on a swingset. If you are "overcurving" the ball enough to get a lot of gutterballs, this indicates that your hand is coming around the ball too early and if you keep doing this, it could possibly result in a hand injury.
I recommend seeking a certified USBC coach if you are still having problems with your bowling.

Yeah, definitely hang out with a coach.
"Curving your wrist" could mean a lot of different mechanical things going on. A brace alone might not give you the right mechanics. I used a brace for a long time and found that I had much more control without it... took awhile to learn that.

I strongly suggest you seek guidance and help from a USBC certified bowling coach. Visit www.bowl.com to search for coaches in your area. There should be some exercises that can help you but that can be best determined with a one on one session with a qualified coach.

With the okay from "Mom" use a milk jug with water in it to help build up the arm and wrist. This will get your swing and hand position set for the release of the ball. The weight of the water in the bottom of the jug will help keep you from turning your wrist, and give you the right hand shaking position at the time of ball release. Start out with a small amount of water and build up over time.
