One thing I have done in the past to keep them thinking about football all year long is to send them football situation on little notes. Example: If you see them in the halls or weight training give them a little note that says. What defense would you run on a third and long? then have them give their response back by the end of the day or the next day. Weight training is also a good way to keep them interested and keep them focused not to mention the bigger faster stronger thing. Be positive, you don't have to be Lou Holtz and give great speeches all day long you just have to be sincere and positive and be a good example. People will always gravitate to winners they want to be around them because they want to be like them. Winners don't go around telling people they are winners you just know.

Winning starts with confidence, confidence starts with knowing, Knowing starts with working hard or practicing hard. Know you program know your plays make sure your team knows your plays and why you run them. Believe in your system and your coaches will believe and that will transfer to the players.

If you don't have a system get one if you don't have a plan make one. You can always adjust a play but you first have to have one.

Being organizes and having a set program is the best way to motivate someone it is hard to get behind something when you don't know what it is.

Practice dose not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.
