how do i run a successful youth cheer program

I have been asked to be the cheer director for our youth fb program, currently no cheer program. I know alot about cheer but I want some ideas on how to run a successful program.

    Make it fun and keep it organized. My advice? Don't piss off the parents xD Get their emails and keep them updated weekly. But like I said, just keep it fun. Play games with the girls, teach them fun chants. Maybe buy a spirit stick and decorate it and one girl keeps it each week? Just a suggestion :)

    You will want to have a set of rules and an organized practice schedule. As Tyler said, communication is very important! Be sure to include stretching in your warm-ups. Work on jumps, motions and cheers. Keeping it fun is important.
