Certainly in his era, he was one of the top 5, all time, there can be a lot of arguements for a slew of great pitchers, going back to Cy, Grover, Chirsty era, but he would be at least on my top 10 list.

I agree with that. Perhaps I should modify the question to be is he a top 5 to have a career that long. i think that's the amazing part... productive for a very long time.

He's a player you would take on your staff any day of the week for sure. Looking at the numbers in that article, it's hard to deny he's one of the best.
As an aside, I played winter ball with a lefty pitcher who was about 6 feet 7 inches and threw about 82. We called him the Big Useless...
