if he get in a head lock, this happens to me all the time, have him grab an elbow and "Milk the Cow" the either shoot or waterfall, which is just a basic twisting motion. That has so be quick or he could be countered easily.

Drive in hard and keep your head pressed into his chest. Best thing that could happen is you take a leg, plant your hand on the mat and pivot around his hip. Worst thing is going out of bounds, which still gives you a start-over. If you don't, he will move you laterally (sideways) and make you pay dearly. Get in deeper or break the hold, but definitely keep your leg power working for you and get into a better position. This is one of those times that a few seconds of extra pain and effort will alleviate more pain and a worse position. That's why a second effort on the takedown is important, so positions like that are minimized. Remember, if you are on your knees, you must be praying to get a beating! And I'm sure your opponent is more than willing to provide it.
