With a two finger grip point the ball up to the sky, (before she throws) when it's behind her head, and follow through over the top. Then release the ball out in front of the nose.

Take a look at the BioForce Pitching Principles on the baseball tips section. You'll see the timing piece. Her shoulders need to be closed at footstrike for any throw...... with the exception of those on the run.

Most arm issues come from an open front side. Take a look at the principles and give us a holler back.

have her lay on the ground on her tummy then she has to throw the ball over her shoulder to get it to you
if she throws side arm while on the ground she will just hit the ground and will get tired of hitting her elbow on the ground
do it over and over again

Check her throwing mechanics. When ball is at the point before the throw, when elbow is at 90-degree angle behind the throwers head. The middle finger must be place at the center and at the top most of the ball. Tell her to make sure her throwing arm or hand lands on her opposite thigh after follow through.

Do the kneel throwing drill: have her kneel with the knee of her throwing hand be place on the ground and the other leg at a 90-degree angle. Have her throw with a partner making sure she executes correct follow through mechanics of her hand going down her opposite thigh after throwing

Make sure she practices more during training so she may relearn and practice her new throwing mechanics

she might have weakness in her rotator cuff. do this go to wal mart or somwhere that might have a giant elastic band or get one of thse rubber elastic handle exercise bands. put a loop in it for the hand attach it to the arm of the bed and practice your throwing mechanics or look up rotator cuff exercises on the web. my rotator cuff got torn thru powerlifting i used the bands and a 10 ib weight to fix my r.cuff.
