Kaycia, I feel for you. This will have to be worked out. If you can't find a SAT prep at a different time, then you have to convince your coach to make allowances or find a different team. If none of that works, you have to choose your education first, unless your being scouted for a full scholarship, you're more likely to get aid based on academics than athletics, and in the end if a choice is made and your not one of the elite few who will make a living at volleyball, then the choice should be for academics. The prep will be over shortly and then you can go back to volleyball knowing you have priorities in order and in place.

Some club coaches will allow you to make up missed practices at another time with a different team within the club. If that is not possible and if your coach won't budge then do what coach Balasco recommends. Education comes first. If your coach doesn't understand that then it's time to look for a different club.

But i don't think my club team has another team to practice but my coach does coach the boys volleyball team during the spring, im not sure if i can practice though....cuz my club team only practice on saturdays and i really want to play
P.s do you know of any inexpensive volleyball club in the new york tri-state area?
