In football can the quarterback run the ball?
Well in p.e we play two hand touch football. Well there was a big fight about if the quarterback can run the ball or not.

In most levels of football-professional (NFL), collegiate, and high school, the QB can and often does run with the ball. However, in some specialty leagues where the passing game is emphasized, direct runs may not be allowed. My middle school does not allow direct runs by the quarterback. A direct run is when the QB receives the ball from the center and runs across the scrimmage line without giving the ball to another player first. Check with your teacher for your P.E.class football rules. -

Jack has it right ... and I have seen the same rule applied to some 8 on 8 Flag leagues. Never have I seen it with tackle leagues.

YES IN MOST LEAGUES QB MAT RUN. TACKLE, YES. BUT THERE ARE FLAG LEAGUES WHERE THE QB CAN NOT RUN OR THE QB CANT RUN UNTIL HE IS RUSHED.

Yes he can run on like a QB bootleg or a QB sneak.
