How do you defend a low level single leg?

This is the best video I've found on how to defend a low level single leg. Have any of you any other points on defending a low level single leg?

Down block, and step back with the foot that is being shot on, sprawling if necisary. Try to keep your foot on the ground, as soon as it leaves the ground it gets much harder to defend. But if it does get to the point where your leg is in the air, get a deep wizzer, and get your leg to the outside so you have leverage. When you wizzer, make sure to push your apponents head away.

You can sprawl out on top. Use your speed to your advantage. Think ahead of your opponent.

im not the best wrestler, but whenever someone shoots a single i always get a cross-face wizzer, and ride it down. then you can get some take-down points from switching the wizzer to a near-ankle.

    1. You can't really near ankle from a wizzer. Most likely you will be able to drop down to a high crotch and hip drag for a takedown. Personally, I have size and strength so I just go for broke with a throw from a high crotch.

a good sprawl is impossible without a good stance. Square or stagger stance, you need your weight on the front pads of your feet.
