Does anyone know what the -10 or -11 meens on the type of Fastpitch Softball bats. I am a new coach and I would like to know the answer.

Most bats tell you the length, weight and composit. I just don't understand what the neg. number meens

It is the difference from the length and the weight. If the bat is 30 inches long and weighs 20 ounces, it is called a "Minus 10" bat. 32 inches long and 21 ounce weight, a "Minus 11" etc.
