My husband just took over as head coach for our son's u10 baseball team as the first head coach moved out of town, and failed to recruit enough players to the previous tryout to complete our roster. This is our first year with this organization, which has been active since 2002. We left our former organization because of lack of skills and mentoring by the coach.
Now we are situated to provide what was lacking in the former team, but we first need to find our team! Our roster is 1/2 full (season doesn't begin until April but winter practices are right around the corner).
I've posted announcements on infosports, league lineup, eteamz, craigs list, our local community online sites, and have touched base with some of the professional coaches in the area. I've also reached out to schools.
I just started the process on Wednesday but of course I'm worried there is somewhere else out there I could get the information out to .... does anyone have any suggestions?
