For most ages (below 13) the 5-3 or 6-2 are the easiest to teach and most standard.

3-4dfense controls both run and pass easier for yongsters to follow .its like they would rather have alittle more advatage with extra linebacker

best is the 6-4. it stops the sweeps and middle running and does good for the pass. i highly recomend it. my school has used it for 15 years and won 6 bac to bac championships and went the championships 8 straight and we r 7-8th grade team
