Is there anything that i can do to get better at volleyball?

I'm in a volleyball team in high school and the season is gonna be over next week. I wanted to join a club, but it's too expensive. Cheapest one is $900. Is there anything that I can do to get better?

Some clubs have better rates. We are only $525 and we offer 10 tournaments over a 7 month period - we train 2 times each week. We also have a prep squad that is $180 for the 7 months with no travel (training only)

We are located in the Central California (Merced)

Check around and maybe ask a local club about a "prep squad"

    Good Luck!

    Enji,
With the current huge popularity of volleyball, some clubs are offering various levels of committment for different fees. Check for short term clinics offeres by some clubs, or check your local YMCA or Parks and Recreation department.

Ask your coach about camps. As a club coach, I understand the costs. Depending on your position(s) get your parents, siblings, friends involved and practice in your driveway! Get some of your teammates to practice with you (my daughter does vball playdates). You're not the only one in this position, so have your parents talk to others and get a private coach for an hour every week/month and split the costs. Many recs have an adult league, I'd advise that route than younger because the skill levels vary. However, number one, ask your coach for help. He/she may help privately for a lot cheaper.

    thanks, guys.

I decided to tryout and if I make it, I'm going to find a job or something and do it. My coach recommended me to go a club and I get along with my coach really well. So I'll see what happens at the tryout.
    Again thank you (:
