I would like to run the Single Wing Offense for (7-8 yr olds) I realize I will need a very skilled Center to snap the ball Shotgun.

Has anyone had sucess with this age group? Thanks!

    I have seen it at the 8-9 year old age. You hit the nail on the head, center is key. The hard part is finding a center that can handle knowing a noseguard is going to hit him as soon as he snaps it. I saw a team start out just rolling the ball back to the QB, by the second game he was getting it back to him in the air. IF you are going to make a bad snap make it low, and not over the qb's head.

    it actually a pretty easy snap, low and fast - plenty of room for a QB to contain the damage for a bad snap. I would recommend giving it a try - you should find it pretty easy to learn and doesn't require superstar athletes to be moderately successful.

    I have been messing around with a snap that doesn't go between the leg's but from the side of the center leg's or I should say leg... I don't know but maybe take a look at this.. Thing is your not teaching your center what is the norm at lest for now. But it is a easy snap

is it ethical to have son of the ref on the opposing team. we had lots of flags they had few. i saw after whistle hits and clips next to ref
