Question
When a pitcher throws ball 4 and a coach calls time out to go talk to his pitcher? What is the rule, is it an automatuc time out once the runner touchers first? What is the rule on that? What if you want your runner to keep going but the umpire says it is an automatic time out???

Are you saying ball 4 is thrown and the manager comes out to talk to the pitcher and when this happens the batter who walked wants to keep running to second? It's a rare play and it would seem you'd mostly be running into an out.
I would say there is no "automatic time-out" and all the games I've seen the manager will ask the umpire for time-out and the umpire has to give it to him.
It seem like from what you describe, ball 4 is thrown and the manager comes out and is given time-out before the batter touches first. Since at almost any level, the batter who walked will usually stay at first, this isn't often an issue.
If a player walked and wanted to keep running to second, does he sprint all the way from the plate? Does he go easy to first and sprint to second as a surprise?
Either way, a risky play - especially when the pitcher is having control problems. Let your team mate coming up drive him in rather than run a risky play to reach second base. The pitcher might already be struggling so don't let him off the hook.
Hope that helps.

If the umpire grants the manager time, then time is out. If the umpire doesn't grant the manager time, then the runner can run wherever he wants, the ball is still in play. There is no such thing as "automatic time outs," just whenever the umpire says time is out.
