This seems to be a hot topic for a lot of middle school aged athletes. There is no way for anyone to know if you will make the team. It really depends on a number of factors. You may be a great player and easily make the team, depending on your own skill level as compared to other guys trying out. However, it is also possible that you live in an area where middle school basketball is highly competitive and you just might not make it. Unfortunately, playing a sport for a long time and loving the game is not good enough to make a team that cuts players.
