I was a competive gymnast until my body couldn't take it anymore. I still enjoy it,but don't know how to do it without hurting myself.sugg?

I'm sixteen and only have two years of highschool left. So that also might be a factor.

    just stretch everynight. i quite cheerleading and gymnastics for 1 year and i still streched everynite&practice front/back handsprings front/back tucks and i still had it when ii joined back into both. so just pretty much strech and it all will come back just give it time

    Have you ever try doing other alternative sport that is related to gymanstics with out all the strains on your body? For example, Trampoline and Tumbling, Acrobatics Gymnastics, or Diving. I know the felling about pounding the body alot but I can tell you that epsom salt baths are really good!

    Make sure you stretch really good before doing skills. Your better off going slow instead of going to intense at once.
