Help! (6y-8y) team has had 4 wks practice vs others' 20wks. no speedburners, but QB can throw, line is suspect. Gameplan suggestions?

Have a team of 15 kids, been together for 1 month. Playing league members that have practiced since April in some cases. Technique is lacking, Blocking on the line is suspect, skill positions ok, but no speedburners. going up against top team this weekend. QB can throw the ball well for 8y old, but inconsistent protection. Trying to get these kids a win but it has been a struggle,

    FUN THATS WHAT ITS ABOUT MOST KIDS AT THAT AGE REALLY DONT KNOW THERE PART SO IF YOU JUST CONTINUE TO WORK WITH THEM AND MAYBE NEXT YEAR THEY WILL KNOW HOW TO PLAY BETTER.HARD WORK PAYS OFF,BUT ITS JUST A GAME FUN THEN FUN REMEMBER THEY ARE KIDS .

    2. Hey Dave, blocking is the key! Have your line pair up and start from a three point stance. On your go the players come from a three point stance and block their partner..both sides should practice offensive blocking! Stop on the whistle reset and repeat. We implemented this drill this season and it has helped get our O-line moving forward and really strengthened their blocking. Also try running the Wing it allows for better lead blocking for RB's and sets up two backs to block during the passing game.

    run an I-bac...... have ur ends go out and ur tail back and fullbac stay with the qb for heavy passing....run up the gut with full bac leads... best thing to do with no burners
