Question
She's 15 and plays on the varsity team in her freshman year at school in Sugar Land, TX. We need a team for her to join to keep her warmed up for next year at a new school. Plus it would be great for her to meet some girls her age with similar interest.

Most of the teams here have been together for a few months now but you can try www.pitch2fast.com and then select florida fastpitch. Go to the teams site and in this area you will be looking for Clearwater, Tampa, St. Pete, and maybe West Pasco. You'll find a lot of teams but as I said you may not have to much luck since most of the teams play year round here.

There are travel ball teams many are looking for players due to constant turnover. You can go to NSA or ISA softball websites and find local teams. You can also contact the local school she will be going to, as Palm Harbor and East Lake or in the district championship game and going to regionals. Some schools have local leagues that many of their girls are affiliated with. Hope it helps!

There is an email address for the Palm Harbor softball exec here: http://www.eteamz.com/phll/news/index.cfm?cat=230084
Reaching out to him could lead to a team. -
There is Dixie Girls Fastpitch Softball on Seven Springs Blvd. in New Port Richey.
