I have not built one but this is what someone else did.

I also built my own with 1 1/4 pvc pipe cost me 30.00 at home depot

enter height 40" exit ht 50" wide 50" length 60"

used t fitting and stuck two together for 2 man chute. light weight and breaks down into 6 pieces for easy carry. This was for 11/12 year olds.

The one thing I would say is try to make the height adjustable since kids very so much in size. GL Hope it works, my son's team could definitely use one. They all stand straight up..
