How would you tell your mom tat you think you broke or sprained your ankle??

My mom is one of the coach's of my softball team and i'm the pitcher. I was at softball practice and i just somehow and landed of my ankle weird. Well i think I might have sprained or broke my ankle, but i don't know how to tell her, because I am the only pitcher or well there is one other person on my team tat can pitch, but can't really pitch as good as me, but i don't know if i should tell her or i should just forget about the pain and keep playing. What do you think i should do??

    Kaitlin,
You should approach your mom and say, "Mom, I think that I broke or sprained my ankle".

Kaitlin, your mom will want to make sure you are healthy, and taken care of. Do not try to play on an injured ankle. You may think you are helping your team, but not only will you hurt your team if you suddenly damage it worse, as they will be unprepared to replace you, but you risk permanent damage by not getting treatment. A sprained ankle, when properly treated will only take a couple of days before being put back into action with the proper support and care. A broken bone will not heal properly if you continue to use it.

If your mom was like mine she would care more about your health than winning a game. I agree you would do more damage than good.
