Bradley,
Less than 1 out of every 200 high school baseball players ever become professional baseball players, and only about one out of every 30 of those make it to the major leagues. Your odds are not very good. Most high school baseball players were all-stars in their pre-high school leagues. However, from my personal experience working with high level athletes, in the long run, the players with the most desire will eventually win out over those with more skills.
Go for your dreams, but have a back-up plan. -
Good answer Jack. To go along with what Jack said, remember also out of 5,000 players in pro ball, only about 60% are American, so it makes the odds even more, but like Jack says "go for your dreams, but have a back up plan".

Bradley, YES YOU CAN. Your comment back shows you have the right attitude, follow it up with the sweat and you have a good shot at pro. Always be the one who works harder.

Bradley, focus on what Jack said about skill and heart. Your skills will improve if you have heart. I would sign a kid with good skills but the right heart over a kid with marginally better skills and less heart. I don't want you to take this wrong... skill is important, but you have time to work on that and I'm sure you will because you sound like you have the heart. Finally, I would recommend focusing on the sport... the more you play, the better you'll be (unless your a pitcher).
