i just do my splits alot, and i do crunches

and also what i do is lay on back and set my head on someones feet and hold onto there ankles and then put my feet in the air like an " L" and then then that someone pulls my feet twards them and it really stretches ur legs

also what you can do in that same position in make that person push ur feet away from them and then you have to snap them back up the the person with out ur feet touching the ground

    hope i helped

    1. the snap things are what we do in practice and they work really well. another thing is to laydown with ur bottom against a wall or bleachers and have some1 push ur legs into the best toe touch position u can do. doing both of these things got my jumps from spread eagle type jumps to actually really nice toe touches in about two or three months.

Hip flexers. Also try standing feet together, arms out like your doing a T jump and lift leg 10 times on eachside to your hand, and do like 5 reps. Dotn bend into it. Leg to hand. And pull with your stomach always.

Practice your splits all the time! What we did in cheerleading is we all laid on the floor with our bottoms and legs on the waal...and we had each other pull our legs down as far as they would go. If you do this everyday then you will be more flexible and you can jump higher!! Hope this helped!!

sit with your legs apart, back against a wall, and one leg at a time, make circles in the air, (small) it will really help.

ummmmm. well what really gets you high in a toe touch is the power of your abs, but somthing really good you can do is some leg motions.... stretch in a stratle posittion and put one hand at the front and one at the back, lift you legs of the ground and rotate your leg in a circular motin. This will give leg and core strength. Ohhhhh make sure you do them even or you will have one leg comming up higher. lol ( hope this helps )

It's all about your hip flexers. The more you stretch them the better. Any type of stretching you do for them including walking leg lunges, will help.

Getting your toetouch higher isn't all about stretching, it's also about working your leg muscles. So what you can do is, jump rope or run up a flight of stairs or something to get your legs stronger. Trust me, it works..

Stretch your hip flexors daily to help you sit into your toe touch. Ab work is important too! Laying on your back with your head on someone's feet, hold their ankles and have them throw your feet toward the ground and your job is to not let them hit the ground and snap them back up to your partners hands. Check out this site for hip flexor stretch: http://www.abc-of-fitness.com/leg-stretch/hip-flexor-stretch.asp

if you start wearing ankle weights during your practices, especially your jump sections, you should get better toe touches during your performances. Its a natural strengthening technique that works really well.
