No, cheer is great. u should totally tryout. flexibility comes with time so just start stretching at least once a day.During tryouts you will only need flexibility for your jumps(because from your picture u look pretty young so a lot of things you won't be expected from you) just google the basic motions like touchdowns, k's,T's , half t's, high and low V's ect. also try to learn how to do a herkie or double hook(also called an abstract jump)from youtube(they aren't that hard) just make sure you stretch before trying to do any jumps and learn a prep. u should make the team easily as long as you remain dedicated.

There's no harm in trying out. I found out about tryouts for my squad about 2 months before they were and wasn't flexable at all. So I stretched a bunch every day and ended up making my team. Good luck!

i think you should go for it (= it doesnt matter if your not that flexible, what counts is that your sharp, you know hand motions, your loud and that you smile.

You should do it!!! It does't matter if your flexible, you will learn how to be flexible. I am taking a break from softball right now and i'm doing hip hop. I was scared because I am not flexible, but i'm getting flexible. So you should do it you will get better and better!!!

You should do which ever you think you'll have more fun doing, and which you'll get more out of. Besides, flexibility is something that is gained over time.
