Hoorah - always sounds good when hollered out from a team together... pumps them up. you have to say it like a military man not like a disney celebration. It's not HOORAY... it's HOOrah.

This is coaching gold..... I call it unleashing the B.E.A.S.T. explain to the kids that to be a beast on the field they need these things
    B- brains
    E- effort
    A- attitude
    S- sportsmanship
    T- teamwork

each part is as important as the next and if you are missing even one of the peices then your not yet a beast..... nothing sikes up the kids like hearing the coach ROAR

    "UNLEASH THE B.E.A.S.T.s"
    i
n a big moment....they start growling and get pumped and play hard...but at the same time they have a deeper meaning to it all.... I tought this to my 5 year old flag team years ago and to this day they can recite those core values and...still get pumped when they hear it.....

let me know if it works as well for you as it did for me.

"Lifesaver". My volleyball caoch used to give out a lifesaver award at each game to te one that hussled the most and made key plays to help the team. After the game she gave that player a pack of lifesaver candy. At the end of the year the one with the most lifesaver awards got a blow up lifesaver ring that you use it the pool.
